Nearly Ninety Air Travels Connected to Epstein Allegedly Came to or from British Airports

An investigation has uncovered that nearly 90 aircraft journeys associated to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein reportedly arrived at and departed from UK airports, with some reportedly transporting women from the UK who assert they were abused by the found guilty sex offender.

Aviation Records Show Pattern of Travel

These aviation records were among a trove of legal papers and files released by Epstein’s estate that have been made public over the past year. The investigation identified 87 flights linked to Epstein – encompassing many that were not previously known – landing or taking off from British airfields between the early 1990s and 2018.

Passenger Details and After Guilty Verdict Flights

Unnamed female passengers were recorded among the individuals flying to and from the UK. Crucially, 15 of these British airport journeys took place after Epstein’s 2008 guilty verdict for soliciting sex from a minor.

“This is ‘astonishing’ that there had never been a ‘full-scale UK investigation’ into his operations in the country,” stated US lawyers acting for numerous Epstein survivors.

UK Survivors and Legal Proceedings

Testimony from one of the UK-based survivors aided the conviction of Epstein’s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. However, that survivor has not been approached by British law enforcement, according to her Florida-based lawyer.

In a statement, the Metropolitan police said they had “not been provided with any further information that would support reopening the probe.” They noted, “If new and relevant evidence be presented to us, including any arising from the release of material in the US, we will assess it.”

Ongoing Document Release and Judicial Decisions

Proposed legislation to make public all files held by the US government in relation to Epstein was approved by the US Congress last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to adhere to this requirement. A vast number of papers are anticipated to be made public.

In a related development, a federal judge ordered last week that the department could publicly release case files from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s long-term associate, who is serving a 20-year jail term over the allegations.
